Fall 2021
Fall Semester 2021
I realized I have been spending too much of my time working to collecting monthly payments. So going forward I will ask pre-payment for the full semester. Please venmo (AllisonNelson@sewfabulousutah), send cash, or check before the first day of class. If this is a hardship for your family please contact me directly.

Spring Semester 2021
Covid Policy
Even though there will only be 4 people in the room at a time, because we are in a fairly small space, we better all wear masks in class (we can make some cute masks!) I will also try to keep a window cracked. I always try to make it really easy to make-up missed classes, so I would ask that you not send kids with any type of sickness to class--whether it looks like covid symptoms or otherwise.
Make-up classes: If you give me at least 4 hours of notice that you will be missing a class, I will put your name on my make-up list and text you when I have an opening. If it's shorter notice than this, I'm sorry, I probably can't get you a make-up class.
Dates:
Classes begin: Thursday Jan 7, Friday Jan 8 , Saturday Jan 9
Mon Jan 11 & Wednesdays Jan 13
Classes end the first week of May
No class:
I will be out of town Jan 28-30 (this is why Thurs-Sat begin early)
President's day weekend Feb 12-15th
Spring break the week of April 5th
Pricing:
For the 75 min class:
$66/month, for 4 months, Jan, Feb, March & April (we will end the first week of May).
If you pay for the full semester before the first day of class you can save $14 and only pay $250

Fall 2020
Fall 2020 Sewing
Covid Policy
Even thought there will only be 4 people in the room at a time, because we are in a fairly small space, we better all wear masks in class (we can make some cute masks!) I will also try to keep a window cracked. I will wipe down all sewing machines, cutting tables, and supplies each day. The students spaces are roughly 5' apart. Please note this is short of the 6' recommendation. Also, teaching sewing by nature often requires me to stand right next to students. I will always wear a mask. But please understand that if you send your kids to class there is some risk you will have to assume. I always try to make it really easy to make-up missed classes, so I would ask that you not send kids with any type of sickness to class--whether it looks like covid symptoms or otherwise. Thank you!

2020 Spring Semester
No Class: Personal conflict Feb 24th-27th
Note: There are 2 more classes this semester than last semester.
Service Project
I am not going to start a new service project yet, I have some great ones in mind. I still have several fidget blankets that need to be sewn. If your student has not sewn a fidget blanket yet, i'd love it if they could--all the supplies are free. One student made a quilt out of them for a child with Autism. Please think of anyone you might know who could benefit from one. I can donate the blankets when finished, but you can also give them away yourselves if you know someone personally.
